MS1480 :2019 Food Safety according to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) System

MS1480 is a Malaysian Standard that describes the requirements for food safety according to the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system to ensure the safety of food during preparation, processing, manufacturing, packaging, storage, transportation, distribution, handling or offering for sale or supply in any sector of the food chain. The implementation of HACCP system helps your organization to control hazard related to food safety and produce safe food products for human consumption. For the implementation of HACCP system, it is required to establish prerequisite programme such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in accordance with MS1514 and other relevant code of practices.

MS1514:2022 Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

MS1514 is a Malaysian Standard that outlines the requirements for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure the quality and safety of food products throughout their lifecycle, from preparation and processing to manufacturing, packaging, storage, transportation, distribution, handling, or offering for sale or supply in any sector of the food chain. The implementation of GMP is crucial for maintaining hygiene and preventing contamination, thereby ensuring the production of safe and high-quality food products for human consumption. Adherence to GMP involves establishing and maintaining procedures and practices that meet the standards specified in MS1514 and other relevant codes of practice, serving as a foundational element for implementing further food safety systems like the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system in accordance with MS1480.
