Stage 1 Audit
Document review and readiness evaluation to verify system preparedness, understanding of requirements, and scope adequacy before Stage 2.
Readiness AssessmentStage 2 Audit
On-site audit evaluating full implementation, operational controls, management reviews, internal audits, and process performance.
Certification DecisionReview & Recommendation
Audit team reviews corrective actions (if any) and submits formal evaluation to the independent Certification Approval Committee.
Certificate Issuance
Upon approval, a 3-year valid certificate is granted along with official guidelines for using the MyCO2 Certification Mark.
Annual Surveillance

Special Audits, Suspensions & Scope Changes
Expanding Scope
Applications to extend certification scope are reviewed to determine necessary audit activities, which may be combined with a surveillance audit.
Short-Notice Audits
Unannounced or short-notice audits may be conducted to investigate complaints, major organizational changes, or follow-ups on suspended clients.
Suspension & Withdrawal
Certificates are temporarily suspended if requirements are persistently failed or audits are refused. Failure to resolve issues within 6 months results in withdrawal or scope reduction.
Complaints & Appeals Handling
MY CERT maintains a documented procedure to receive, acknowledge, investigate, and decide upon complaints and appeals objectively.
Validation & Investigation
We acknowledge receipt, verify details, and track all corrective actions taken.
Independent Decision Making
Appeals and complaints are reviewed by personnel independent of the subject matter.
Formal Resolution Notice
Complainants and appellants receive formal written notice upon completion of the process.
Rules Governing Certification Marks
Certified organizations are permitted to use MY CO2 logos under specific guidelines. Failure to comply may lead to non-conformances, suspension, or legal action.
Permitted Mark Applications
- Corporate Stationery & Literature: Official letterheads, business cards, sales brochures, advertising materials, and promotional media.
- Vehicles & Digital Media: Fleet vehicles and electronic media where usage is akin to stationery.
- Dimensions & Colors: Marks must be at least 20mm in height and printed in a single color (Red, Brown, Black, Dark Blue, Gold, or the predominant stationery color).
Strictly Prohibited Applications
- No Product Packaging: Marks must NOT be placed on products, product packaging, or associated documentation that implies product conformity.
- No Test/Calibration Reports: Marks cannot be used on laboratory test reports, calibration certificates, or inspection documents.
- No Misleading Claims: Must not imply that MY CO2 certifies a specific physical product, service item, or activity outside the certified scope.
